I ate myself sick Friday. Why is it there are some days like that? Luckily, they do not happen that often to me, anymore. Well, let me purge my soul so that I can let it go and get back on track tomorrow.
- Breakfast: 2 slices of buttered toast (high fiber) and hot chocolate
- Snack a.m.: a slice each of yummy chocolate cream pie and key lime pie (thanks Ms. Sarah, really!)
- Lunch: turkey on 1 slice of bread (high fiber, again), not so bad
- Snack p.m.: chocolate cupcake (because Mrs. Williams made them from scratch not box mix- couldn’t let the effort go to waste)
- Cooking Club: chicken nachos and a little chocolate heart
- End of school: another tiny slice of key lime pie and two bite size pieces of melon
- Ran 3 miles and lifted weights – Hallelujah!
- Post run: 2 cinnamon mini bagel holes (like I really needed a post workout snack today, but when the train leaves the rails…)
- Euchre night: 2 slices of cheese pizza, salad, nuts, a big cracker with cheese, M&Ms, Ain’t Your Momma’s Banana Pudding, and blueberry cheesecake (made by scratch once again by Mrs. Williams)
I finally waved the white flag and stopped the madness, with damages at almost 4,000 calories! Tomorrow, I believe I will eat nothing but protein and veggies.
